Saunters and Strolls

Saunters and Strolls… were introduced in the pre-war years as an alternative to the more bouncy Charlestons and Two Steps.  They have slower, gliding steps more akin to the Slow Foxtrot.  Strolls are very similar, but usually start in side-by-side position.

Blues and Glides

Blues and Glides… are very similar to Saunters – the Classical Sequence version of the Foxtrot.  Slower steps, with a soft lilting action.  Both use the zig-zag with gentle use of sway.
